Description
Louis Mayaud has 15 years of experience in medical technology transfer. In the 2000s, he participated in the development of brain-computer interfaces (BCI) in France: following his stint at INRIA in 2008, he joined the AP-HP to implement a national research programme to restore communication in mechanically ventilated tetraplegic patients thanks to the interpretation of their brain waves. He holds a Ph.D. from Oxford University in Innovation in Health, and has since contributed to the innovation at Mensia Technologies to market the first class IIa medical device for the care of a pediatric psychiatric pathology. After 3 years in Boston, he joined RDS SAS in 2020 as CTO to facilitate the return of patients to their homes after surgery.
