Directrice Générale

Description

Martine Mack, 49, Chief Engineer of Bridges, Waters and Forests, began her career within the state at the Directorate General for Food (DGAL) in Paris, then at the Regional Directorate for the Environment (DIREN) Alsace. In 2006, she joined the Bas-Rhin Department, where she headed the departments responsible for urban planning, development, housing, and road operations. In 2012, she joined the Alsace Region as Director of Competitiveness and Knowledge, in charge of economic development, innovation, research and higher education. Following the merger of the three regions in 2016, she took on these same responsibilities at the Grand Est Region level. In this context, beyond her management functions, she was particularly involved in venture capital within regional funds, including Alsace Croissance, and was a director of the SODIV Alsace participatory investment company. In January 2018, Martine Mack was appointed Managing Director of the semi-public company R-GDS, the leading gas distributor in the Bas-Rhin, managing a gas network of 2040 km serving 122 municipalities, including Strasbourg, and one of the entities of the ASTER ENERGIES group, which has an ambitious development strategy to achieve the 2050 objective of the City and Eurometropolis of Strasbourg's Energy Master Plan (SDE). This includes virtuous urban heating networks such as Strasbourg Centre Energies.
