Description
Hélène Boulanger has been the president of the University of Lorraine since may 31, 2022. She chairs the Incubateur Lorrain and is the scientific director of the Sirius program (innovation strategy for strengthening interactions between university and society), which won the AAP IDEES de France 2030 award in 2021. She was also elected president of the University of the Greater Region (UniGR a.s.b.l) in november 2023. She is also the president of the national advisory committee for IUTs since 2023.
Within France universities, after serving as vice-president of the training, student life and professional integration council and member of the board of directors of France universities, more specifically in charge of guidance and integration issues between 2022 and 2024, she has been vice-president of France universities since january 2025.
Senior lecturer in information and communication sciences at the university of lorraine, she was director of the collegium SHS from 2012 to 2017, in charge of the training-accreditation mission from 2015 to 2017, then 1st vice-president, vice-president of the board of directors from 2017 to 2022, in charge of strategy, management and finance.
She is attached to the UFR SHS-Nancy and a member of the Praxis team at the CREM laboratory of the university of lorraine. Her research focuses on organizational communication and media devices.
