Description
Hospital director for 20 years, Thomas TALEC has held various positions in healthcare facilities, university hospitals (AP-HM, CHU de Clermont-Ferrand), private university structures (as Deputy General Director of the Strasbourg cancer center) and also within a Regional Health Agency.
Currently director of the GHT Nord Ardennes and all the hospitals and clinics that compose it, he manages a collective of nearly 4,300 professionals for an operating budget of approximately 350 million euros. This GHT is notably pursuing two major real estate projects, the reconstruction of the mental health facility, the first stone of which has just been laid, and the construction of a departmental Oncopole, a project validated by the Ministry of Health.
Before holding this position, he was Deputy General Director of the CHR de Metz-Thionville, the 17th largest French establishment by activity. There, he led the drafting of the establishment project, numerous medical-care reorganizations, and the construction of the new women-children center.
