Nihal Engin Vrana is the CEO of SPARTHA Medical, a French biotechnology and medical technology company that develops biointelligent active interfaces (antimicrobial, antiviral, and pro-regenerative). SPARTHA Medical is involved in the use of organ-on-a-chip systems for the characterization of biopolymers, as well as for toxicological analysis and the SSbD (Safe and Sustainable by Design) framework, as the scientific coordinator of two ongoing European projects (Horizon 2020 PANBioRa and Horizon Europe Toxbox (https://toxbox.eu/)).
