Since may 2025, ludmila gautier has been the innovation, regulation, and strategy director at groupe és (électricité de strasbourg). between 2019 and 2025, ludmila was the deputy general director of és énergies strasbourg (a marketing subsidiary of groupe és) employing 250 people, with a portfolio of 580,000 electricity customers and 110,000 gas customers. she is also in charge of the marketing and energy transition department, which includes 45 employees.
Energy transition and innovation are the common thread of her career within the edf group.
A graduate with a doctorate in materials science from ensam paris, she joined edf in 2000 as a research engineer in the research and development center located in moret-sur-loing.
She then joined the eifer research institute, european institute for energy research in karlsruhe, in 2002. within this european economic interest group between edf and kit (karlsruhe institute of technology) of 110 researchers, she initially worked on research topics related to decentralized production methods (fuel cell micro-cogeneration, electrolysis for hydrogen production), before moving to management positions and taking over the management of the institute in 2013.
In 2016, she joined edf's grand est regional delegation, in charge of coordinating the edf group's business entities in the alsace region, and responsible for promoting innovation and energy transition issues in conjunction with stakeholders in the grand est region on these issues. ludmila gautier was president of the fondation partenariale haute alsace (edf - université haute alsace) from 2017 to 2021.
Since 2020, she has held the following positions in various associations: vice-president of the association initiatives durables for the promotion of a responsible economy, and president of atee grand est (technical association for energy and the environment) and member of the sodiv commitment committee. in 2023, she joined the school board of telecom physique strasbourg.
