Chargé de recherche CNRS et coordinateur scientifique adjoint du projet Mat-Light 4.0 de l'Université de Haute-Alsace
Description
Arnaud Spangenberg is a CNRS Research Fellow at the Institut de Science des Matériaux de Mulhouse (IS2M), and Deputy Scientific Coordinator of the Mat-Light 4.0 project of the Université de Haute Alsace (UHA). He obtained his doctorate in 2009 in physical chemistry from ENS Paris Saclay on the development and characterization of photo-switchable nano-systems. He then completed a post-doctoral internship at the University of Amsterdam studying molecular motors, before joining the Institut de Science des Matériaux de Mulhouse in 2013 as a CNRS Research Fellow to work on 3D printing by photopolymerization of micrometric-sized objects. A pioneer in the development of low-cost miniaturized sensors, as well as in the design of microstructures with dynamic behavior by 4D micro-printing, his work was rewarded by the Young Researcher Prize of the Fédération de Recherche des Matériaux et NanoSciences du Grand Est in 2022 and has been the subject of around fifty scientific articles and fifteen patents (12 in industrial co-ownership).
