Description
Jérôme Betton has held the position of regional director of Ademe Grand Est since 2019. He joined the agency in 1997 as an engineer in charge of missions, and over the past twenty-five years he has acquired expertise in management and coordination of ecological transition and circular economy projects, before taking up governance positions from 2014.
Open to the world and driven by humanist values, this travel enthusiast also worked for four years abroad on projects
international cooperation, first in Kosovo in the context of reconstruction, then in Romania on industrial transformation projects.
Having so far worked for local authorities, on his return to France he deepens his knowledge and his links with industry, a sector which interests him particularly for the central role it has to play in the ecological transition. With his unifying spirit and his taste for human relations, Jérôme Betton attaches special importance to the constitution of autonomous and well-equipped teams and to the construction of bonds of trust within the networks he leads, with the will create synergies between stakeholders.
He likes to seek solutions to the difficulties encountered by the territories in which he works, to design the tools adapted to their resolution and to accompany the local actors so that they take hold of them. Driven by the conviction that the transition requires everyone's support, Jérôme Betton tries to be attentive to the problems of the various actors, with one objective in sight: to facilitate the establishment of fertile and productive conditions for ecological transition.
