R&D Project Manager
Description
Following a doctorate in numerical simulation, I joined T&S in 2015 as an industrialization engineer.
Since 2020 and the creation of the “Englab” brand (for Engineering laboratory), I have been working with our customers as an industrialization project manager. My role is to support customers in the development of production stations, test and validation benches, and even the implementation of complete production lines.
Example of recent support: development of a medical device (Biosynex Thermometer) and the entire production line as part of the reindustrialization of the production line in France. With the long-term goal of making different product variants, the idea was to work on a flexible line and automate only key tasks. In addition, one of the objectives was to work with top-tier suppliers as locally as possible.
In parallel with these activities, I manage part of Englab's r&d activities around the industry of the future themes (AI, mixed reality, cobotics, automation, vision, digital twin, rfid, etc.) In this context, Englab has an experimental platform of production, the aim of which will be to deploy all of these technological bricks in situ with the aim of improving operational and decision-making processes.
Example recent work:
- Implementation of a product handling solution between stations using a cobot mounted on a linear axis to increase agility and flexibility.
- Implementation of several assembly assistance solutions (classic HMI, detection by vision, error detection by AI, videoprejection in augmented reality, etc.) to rehabilitate workstations in a CSR policy
- Process simulation via the FlexSim tool to analyze and optimize production flows (process validation and verification of operator and machine occupancy rate, etc.)
