Since July 1, 2019, Thierry FRIEH has been CEO of ES
Energy Services
ÉS Services Energétiques carries out 3 main activities:
- the maintenance of climate engineering installations, their
optimization and guarantee of energy savings in the
duration through the implementation of a performance contract
energy,
- the production of renewable energies
- HVAC and electrical engineering works
ÉSSE, a subsidiary of ES, is the local energy company strongly committed to serving its customers in Alsace and
in the implementation of the territory's energy transition.
ESSE has 155 employees within the ÉS group (1300 employees)
In 1985, Thierry FRIEH was promoted to Climate and Energy Engineering from the INSA school.
Strasbourg
Attended higher education in Commerce in Montpellier from 1999 to 2001
Thierry FRIEH served two terms as President of the AICVF groupe Alsace (Association of
Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Cold Engineers) and is a member of the INSA Strasbourg jury for PFE
(End of studies project) for students in Climate and Energy Engineering.

1986 to 1990: Design offices

1992 to 2006: Suez Group (now ENGIE):
- Sales Director Energy Division - Cofely (maintenance management today)
- Branch manager (240 people) and member of the CODIR North East region (1200 employees)
2006 to 2008: Sales Director at Gaz de Strasbourg
2008 to 2012: Managing Director of Enerest-Gaz de Strasbourg
Turnover of €220 million for 110,000 natural gas customers, 5 TWh. (following the separation
network manager and marketing activities)
