Description
Holder of a PhD in Plant Biology at Imperial College London, Hélène Lacroix has worked in the private sector at Syngenta (UK) and at ARD (France) in Plant Biotechnology fields. From 2009, she moved towards research coordination, structure management and financial management functions, as project manager at INSERM headquarters in Paris. From 2012 to 2021, she was in charge of steering the CNRS Research Federation in bioeconomy, the SFR Condorcet, which brings together 700 researchers from the Grand-Est, Hauts-de-France and Wallonia in Belgium in the bioeconomy field. From 2021, she moved to the Development Direction position of the Agrosciences, Environment, Biotechnologies and Bioeconomy Cluster of the University of Reims. Since 2023, she coordinates with Project Leader, Pr. Christophe Clément, a project of Excellence funded by the French government and called EXEBIO. This 10 years project has the objective to develop an “International Institute on Sustainable Bioeconomy” on the Grand-Est region.
