Description
Both psychiatrist and explorer, Bertrand Piccard made history by making two aeronautical firsts: a non-stop round the world balloon and a round the world trip by solar plane. A pioneer in his approach to consider ecology from the perspective of economic profitability, he has been working since the early 2000s to promote renewable energies and clean technologies. President of the Solar Impulse Foundation, his challenge today is to select 1000+ cost-effective solutions to protect the environment and ensure clean growth, and to bring them to political, economic and financial decision-makers.
