Description

Trained as a chemical engineer from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, Mouhamed recently joined IAR, the bioeconomy cluster after more than 15 years of experience in industry. Indeed, Mouhamed worked for 10 years at OLEON, a subsidiary of the Agro-industrial group AVRIL. He successively held the positions of Head of the Analytical R&D Laboratory and Collaborative Project Manager, notably for the development of new technical and sustainable solutions for Oil Fields, Lubricants, Food & Feed applications, etc. Then, Mouhamed joined the VEOLIA group, more specifically its subsidiary DIELIX, specialized in the collection and recovery of used edible oils for the production of biofuels. He held the position of Head of laboratory innovation and quality control with missions to optimize the existing production process to make it more competitive and the development of R&D projects for the diversification of the site's activities. During his various experiments, he was able to develop expertise in oleochemistry, chemical processes and laboratory management. Since the beginning of 2020, Mouhamed has held the position of Bioenergy Innovation Manager at IAR, the bioeconomy cluster, with the mission of animating the ecosystem and contributing to the development of various emerging energy sectors such as renewable gases, biofuels, renewable aviation fuels, biofuels, CO2, etc.
