La Poste is a public limited company with public capital, a subsidiary of the Caisse des Dépôts and the State. The La Poste Group is organized into four branches: Services-Mail-Parcels, GeoPost, La Banque Postale, which, together with its subsidiary CNP Assurances, is a European leader in bancassurance and green, consumer and digital finance.
Carbon neutral since 2012, La Poste distributes 17.9 billion objects per year worldwide (letters, printed advertising and parcels), 6 days a week. Attached to its territorial presence, the Group has 17,000 contact points (post offices, municipal postal agencies, merchant post offices) and 15,000 access points to a postal service (Pickup, pro squares, lockers or parcel drive). In 2020, the La Poste Group achieved a turnover of 31.2 billion euros, 40% of which was international, and employs nearly 249,000 people in 48 countries on 4 continents, including 190,000 in France.
With its strategic plan "La Poste 2030, committed to you", the public company has set itself the ambition of becoming the first European platform for links and exchanges, human and digital, green and citizen, at the service of its customers in their projects and of society as a whole in its transformations.
